Robert Lewis "Hootie" Jackson was born in Weatherford on April 6, 1942. He was a Master Mason and a member of the Walnut Creek Baptist Church. He owned and operated Jackson's Azle Food Locke in Azle.

Survivors: Wife, Shirley Jackson of Weatherford; daughter, Kinya Jackson of Azle; daughters and sons-in-law Joyce and Mark Sellers of White Settlement and Sandy and Scott Livingston of Weatherford; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Tina Jackson of Weatherford; grandkids, Amanda Noah, Johna Noah, Jo Lynn Chisholm, Hunter Livingston and Christopher Sellers; parents, Pauline and Fuzzy Phelan; brothers, C E Hall, Ben Jackson and Ray Jackson, all of Weatherford, and Betty Gustafson of Azle; numerous nieces and nephews; and hundreds of friends and relatives.
