Notes

  • -----------------
Elijah Edmonds married Nancy Magnolia Mitchell.
My grandmother gave me all the names birth dates of her uncles and aunt. I pulled all the information from obituaries, and have copies of a lot of headstones for this generation.
The correct listing of their names is as follows:

    William "Billy" Calvin - 21 Nov 1888
    Oscar Sheldon - 3 Oct 1891
Rev. Timbert Shroud "TS" 4 May 1892
    Manervia - 13 Apr 1895
Thomas Tony ( my Great Grandfather )  11 Dec 1896
    Joe W. "Dewey - 1 Apr 1897
    Gurley Roosevelt - 12 Jul 1900
    Willard Emery 22 Dec 1902
    Hicks A - 15 Feb 1905

Mary seems to match Minerva in the family list of chidlren.  But the age of the child reported as Minerva in 1910 is 2 years later that the 1895 birth date reported in 1900.  The 1895 datre matches that from the research and famliy source of Suzanne Kennedy.  The name Suzanne has is Minervia, and obvious form of Minerva.    Maybe Mary was her middle name.
