Notes

• The listing for the Price family in 1880 includes some Nicholson entries that helps to fill out the family structure of the Nicholsons who married McSwains and Rownds.
  
  Living 2 doors from Frank Nicholson and his family are J M Price and his wife Eliza.  Living in their household is J M's mother-in-law Theresa A Nicholson and a brother-in-law Charles Nicholson.  It would seem then that Eliza's maiden name was Nicholson.  The birth places of self and parents for Charles and Eliza are the same, with both parents born in Alabama and both children born in Arkansas.
  
  We find these birth places of parents to match those of Frank Nicholson.  But Frank, the eldest of the three, is reported as born n Alabama.  The ages match for a nuclear family.
  
  Since Theresa and her son Charles are living with her daughter's family, we should assume that her husband has passed away at this time.  Hopefully we can find information in earlier censuses to give us Theresa's husband's name and maybe some more details on the family.

  From this data it appears that the Nicholson family moved from Alabama to Arkansas between 1848 (Frank born in Alabama) and 1854 (Eliza J born in Arkansas).  If we find some earlier censuses for this family, we might be able to specify more specifically.  There may be other children.
  
  In 1900 Elizabeth is a widow, running her farm and taking boarders in her home.  One of the boarders is Harvey Williams, who in about three years will marry Elizabeth's niece Huldah Nicholson, daughter of Eliza's brother Frank.

  This indicates that Eliza's husband J M died sometime after March 1888 (birth of last child Willmer M) and this census.
  
  Living next door is Eliza's son James A Price with his wife Alla A and a servant.

  Living on the other side of James are Bert and Fannie Rownd.  Next door to them we find Ben and Maggie McSwain Rowland,  (Maggie is the daughter of PK and Martha Elizabeth McSwain.)  Two doors down from Ben and Maggie is a Padgett Household:  Burl (Bear) and Sarah, Lizzie and Carrie Woods (step-children from Sarah's 1st marriage), (Mary) Annie and other children].
  
  A census entry in 1910 matches the widow Elizabeth and her children.  But the name is Lida Price.  This is the only reference I have seen to her being called Lida.

  Lyda died in 1915.  The name on her grave in Mount Pleasant Cemtery is Lyda Jane Price.  In other sou rces she was Jane Lyda, full name Elizabeth Jane Lyda Nicholson.  Note that int eh 1880 census she was listed as Eliza J Price.
