• "Lura and John had three children together:  Johnny, Quinn, and Glenn. I remember her pretty well--she died in the late 60's or early 70's.  John Berry Horton married Lura Ines Ward Oct. 21, 1906. She died June 8, 1964."

  In this family's 1930 census enumeration the child listed as Lew matches Glen of 1920.  Perhaps Glen's middle name was Luis, Lew (Lou) for short.

  June Marie London, in her London-Porter-Gunter-Griffin Family Tree, has Glenn as Glenn Adam Horton.  She includes no documentation or record for this middle name, or discussion about his name.  I have found no record for any middle name, other than the 1930 census, where his entry as Lew Horton would seem to stand for Louis.  References to him by family are always just Glenn, as is the case on his grave and Find a Grave memorial.
