In the 1900 census a couple of doors down form Robert and Mabel is aJackson family that appears to be her parents and siblings.  The firstentry of the children originally had been Jackson, Mabel C.  But thenthere is a write over and the designation daughter is written over asSon, and the F changed to M for gender.  It appears that when theenumerator asked for the name of their eldest child, the parentsmentioned their daughter Mabel, and the enumerator had already writtenher name before they finished explaining that she had just beenmarried and had moved out.  Instead of crossing out the entry, theenumerator wrote over the name making it almost illegible.

But one can just make out the overwritten name as something likeErnest E.  The enumerator had not yet written in the birth date, sothe date is readable as Ernest's birth date of 1884.  Since a coupleof entries below in her record Mabel reports her birth date as October1880, this confirms the birth order and supports the scenario based onthe confused and corrected record for Ernest ( or similar name) forher brother, born 4 years later.  Another thing I note in the twocensus reports here is that Mabel reports the birth states of herparents reversed from what they do.  In the 1910 census, she reportsthem both born in Michigan.

I notice there are no Haney children in the household.  One or moregenealogies reports, apparently from family information, that Mabelhad three children while married to Robert Haney, the last being bornin 1905, the year he died.  Where are these children?  But I noticethat one of the daughters died in Camden, where both Mabel and hersecond husband Joe Parker lived and were buried.  But in the 1920census, Eloise and Bobbie Mae are in the Parker household.  it appearsthat Lorene died young.
