  A California marriage record seems to match Leman, and we know he moved west and lived finally in Alaska for quite some time.  But the age of Leman F Smith in this record is only 17 years old, which seems unusual, since no one else from his immediate famiy moved west.  But his daughter links this marriage to her father in her Smith-Rook genealogy.  Note that the bride is two years older than Leman, at age 19.

  "I didn't have contact with my Dad growing up but I was able to see him in 2014 and meet my half brother for the first time.  They live in Ketchikan Alaska so I try to go up there when I have the chance. ... The photo ... was taken in 2014. My brother and I surprised my Dad with my visit.  I fell in love with my brother Richard.  He has come to Rohnert Park for visits."
