A former Mounds resident, Mrs Annie S. West, 86, died Saturday night in a Seminole [Oklahoma] hospital. She had made her home at Seminole the last ten years. The widow of Benjamin H. West, who died in 1957, she was born at Twin Creek, Arkansas, April 13, 1884, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Her survivors are a son, Ray West of Seminole; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Hooley of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, and Ruby West of Seminole; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alex Gillihan of Melbourne, Arkansas, and Owen Gillihan of Shirley, Arkansas; a sister, Mrs. Dora Hendrickson, 501 N. Ross. Funeral rites will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Chapel with Bill Guymon of the Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in South Heights Cemetery.~
