  Granddaughter of James Houston (1828-63) and Julia Harris (b 1833), his wife
  Gr-granddaughter of Buckner Harris Jr (1801-66) and Peninah Steele, his wife
  Gr-gr-granddaughter of Buckner Harris and Nancy Early, his wife

  Walton Harris (1739-1800) served in the army and while absent from his home in Georgia,it was burned by the British.  He was born in Chowan County, NC; died in Wilkes Co, GA.
  Buckner Harris (1761-1821) served as private in Brig-Gen; Elijah Clark's brigade at the capture of Augusta, GA.  He was born in Virginia; died in Wilkes Co, GA.
