Notes
- The following family construction is uncertain. It comes from Carolyn Cooper, who has some good clues and helps clarify the family, but also has errors and anomalies that don't fit. No documentation has been found for the Susannah Few reported to be the wife of this George Washington Gregory, or their marriage.
The name George Washington Gregory is found in Virginia in seveal generations, because of the marriage of Mildred Warner Washingto to Roger Gregory. Mildred was the aunt of George Washington who became president. The Mount Vernon estate was originally the property of Roger Gregoryy and he and Mildred gave it to the Washington family, and it was inherited by George Washington.
