  Marriage bond for 50 pounds "current money of Kentucky" signed by Lewis Templeman and James (J L)  Jamison 20 Feb 1815
  Permission in writing by Mary Jones:  "I authorise you to grant a lisens to Mr Lewis Templeman and my daughter Charlotte Gregory given under my hand, Mary Jones, Feby 20th 1815."
  
  Another Gregory in this family, Nathaniel (Nathan) Gregory, married a Templeman also, Mahala Templeman, daughter of Ephraim Templeman and Delia Patterson.  Gregorys and Templemans settled together and may have traveled together to the areas of Virginia that became northern Kentucky along the Ohio River.  Both clans are found, with several marriages between them, in Bath, Fleming and Rowan Counties, Kentucky.
