  William was already 25 years old in 1850, and does not appear in his parents' household in 1860.  His age of 25 her would make his the oldest child of the household.  A brother, Monterville Marvin, was born about 1826, according to his record in 1850 as head of his own household.  The 1850 census is the first that lists the names of any except the head of the household.
