Former Bristow, Oklahoma resident Ronald Lee Wyatt, 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 21, 2013 at the Veteran's Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

Ronald and his twin brother, Donald were born June 22, 1936 in Bristow, to Cleed Wyatt and Winnie Settles Wyatt. They were the second of two sets of twins born to the family. He grew up in Okemah and then moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 1951. During his younger years, Ronald enjoyed playing softball with friends and quail hunting with his brothers. He also loved to go camping, fishing and water skiing with his family at Lake Texoma in the summer.

He attended Seminole High School and was a graduate of the class of 1954. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Upon completing basic training he was deployed to Japan for two years serving as a cook. Upon discharge he returned to Seminole and went to work for Jones and Laughlin, an oilfield supply company. Later, he was transferred to Houston, Texas as a warehouse supervisor and after 28 years of service retired.

Ronald returned to his family home in Bristow and lived many years there, until becoming ill and entering the Veteran's Center in Norman in 2011.

He is survived by his children, Mike Wyatt, Belinda Wyatt Adams, and Bobby Wyatt; brother, Harlan L. Wyatt and his wife, Imogene; sister, Helen Wyatt Slawson; sister-in-law, Betty Wyatt, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleed and Winnie Wyatt, twin brother, Donald Ray Wyatt, brother-in-law, Robert D. Slawson, Grandparents, Monroe and Etta Wyatt and Tom and Sally Settles and several aunts and uncles.

Ronald will be greatly missed by his family who loved him dearly. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their special care and compassion during his illness at the Veteran's Center in Norman.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 26, 2013 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
