  This birth date is too late for the marriage and children's births for Richard Gregory of Rappahannock/Essex County, Virginia.  But the 1669 in the transcription text record may be an error in transcription for 1660, reported by some other sources for the birth of Richard Gregory, son of John.   Marriage record that appears to be for this Elizabeth and John Gregory has the birth year as 1655.  Will records seem to indicate that John Gregory was the firstborn.  These factors would llow for Richard Gregory to have been born by 1660 or earlier.

  According to the above record, in their later years, John and Elizbeth (Bishop) Gregory were living in Sittenbourned (Cettenbourne) Parish, Rappahannock County.
