Charlottesville, VA, January 10, 1925 (Saturday)

Dr Edwin May Magruder, 66 years old, for many years a member of the medical faculty of the University of Virginia, resident physician of the Southern and Chesapeake and Ohio Railways, chieftan of the American Clan Gregor society and one of the founders of the Martha Jefferson hospital, this city, died today. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday [12 January 1925] at the Presbyterian church. Besides his wife Dr Magruder leaves four children.
