    Meda Jo Gregory
    April 13, 1936 - February 27, 2018

    Meda Jo Gregory, 81, passed away peacefully February 27, 2018, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

    Meda was born to Bismark and Myrtie (Todd) Behrens. Meda is survived by her husband, Eugene Gregory (USAF), Kingston, OK; son, JD Patrick, Jr. and wife, Julie of Benbrook, TX; step-daughter, Julie Buie and husband, Pat of Fort Worth, TX; as well as nieces and nephews. Meda was preceded in death by her parents, Bismark and Myrtie Behrens, two sisters, Evelyn Cox and husband, Clifford Cox (USAF), and Mildred Pilcher and husband, Marshall.

    Meda had a lively and loving personality. Those knowing Meda, recognized her desire in helping others, and in doing so, made many self-sacrifice’s. Meda enjoyed life and its simple offerings. She was adventurous and loved traveling, enthusiastic about sports, fishing, an avid lover of pets, and a very accomplished artist.

    Meda enjoyed a 29-year career in Logistics with General Dynamics Aeronautics-Fort Worth. She supported the requirements for sustainment of the F-111 and F-16 aircrafts. Meda was a very active member of the OPEIU, participated in many organizations, a passionate softball player, and made many wonderful friends.

    After retirement from General Dynamics, Meda transitioned to a relaxing life in the tranquil surroundings of Kingston, OK and Lake Texoma. Here she enjoyed fishing, acrylic and water color painting, and R.V. travels with family and friends.

    Meda was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingston, OK. She cherished the closeness of her fellow parishioners and the outreach of their support.

    Funeral Services for Meda will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 03, 2018 at Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, TX officiated by Rev. Joe Patterson. A visitation will be held beginning at 9:00am prior to the service.

    Graveside Services will follow at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 03, 2018 at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, OK.
