  There is a memorial in the name of John Gregory for a burial in the Gregory Cemetery in Union County, South Carolina.  However, the date son it are the same as those that appear on the epitaph gravestone of Jehu Greogry.  It appears someone has misread the old mossy stone for Jeu and interpreted the name as John.
