Priscilla died in 1869.  Simpson and Priscilla had only the one child, Eugenia.  In the 1870 census, Eugenia, the firstborn, is in her father's household at age 25.  The three youngest children, born since 1860, are in the home.  Simpson remarried soon after Priscilla died, since he has another wife in the August 1870 census, named simpley F P.  Other records tell us she is Frances.
