Charlie's age in 1920 would make him born about March 1918 (if they were careful about the official census date of 1 January). But his military gravestone says he was born 21 Jan 1916. The latter makes sense becauwse his father died in August 1916. The enumerator must have misunderstood the reported age, or forgot it by the time he wrote it down.
