In the 1910 census the enumerator really got confused on the entries for the wife and the eldest son of this family.  You can see the supposed corrections and yet many details remain wrong.  It looks like a first level of correction was made, but it was wrong also, then on the second level of correction, not all the corrections were made.  So on the entries for Tinnie (the son Tiney) and the wife, things are muddled.

Perlina, the wife, is the final entry, but some of the second-level corrections did not get made.  Her name was first correctly written as Perlina L and Wife, but then the main name was marked out but the P was left and a period added, making it P L.

    Laura Ann Perlinia [sic] Few
Birth 1 Jul 1840 Greenville County, South Carolina, USA
Death 6 August 1929 (aged 79 [= birth in 1850]) Chick Spring Township, Greenville County, South Carolina, USA
Burial 8 August 1929 Mountain View Cemetery [Greer, Greenville County, South Carolina], by John Wood, Greer, South Carolina
    ------------------------

Though her obituary says she had lived on Green Street in Greer for several years, her death certificate reports the place of death as Chick Springs (a local spring area and a township name).  Chick Springs (Taylors) is also in the Greenville-Spartanburg area.  Taylors is an unincorporated area southwest of Greer.  The informant on Perlina's death certificate was her son Tiney (T M).  It is not apparent why he reported Chick Springs as the place of death, since her home is reported to be on Green Street in the city of Greer.

"Chick Springs is a mineral springs in present-day Taylors, Greenville County, South Carolina, which from the mid-nineteenth to the early twentieth century served as the focus of a small Upstate South Carolina resort community. ... In 1840, planter Burwell Chick[2] opened a resort at the location, building a 'large and commodious hotel.'"

Contrary to her obituary, the memorial on Find a Grave reports she died in Spartanburg County, rather than Greenville County.  Green Street of Greer is in Greenville County, as most of the city is.

"Greer is a city in Greenville and Spartanburg counties in the U.S. state of South Carolina. ...
The area now known as Greer was once part of the "Domain of the Cherokees" prior to the American Revolutionary War. In 1777 the area was added to the state of South Carolina. Development toward the birth of the town occurred in 1873, when the Richmond and Danville Air Line Railway (now the Norfolk Southern Railway) established a line between Atlanta and Charlotte. A station was built on land that belonged to James Manning Greer, and was named Greer's Station."
