Notes

  • Some genealogies include a page for the 1880 census in the documentation for Willie Allen, reporting William W Allen as a 5-month-old son of John R and Nancy Allen in Lamar County.  The location is reasonable for what we know of Willie's later life.  Lamar County is just west of Red River County, where he and his wife Louella lived later.

But this census has a different middl einitial from the 1930 census, which reports him as Willie T, while the 1910 census has his name as Willie E.  So Willie's middle initial changes, and is missing in the 1920 census.
