  According to WPA transcriptions, buried in Walls, OK cemetery.  He was the son of James N. Trahern and Sarah Hall.  He was a Dawes enrollee of the Choctaw Nation.  He had two children with Anna Hartaway, Walter and Isabelle Trahern, two with Sina Colbert, Robert and Martha Trahern, and was listed as the father of a son with Emma Cox, Joseph.  He served in the Choctaw congress as a representative from his district.  His friends and family called him Don.  The last years of his life he spent living with the Daniels family, who had been close neighbors and friends for years.
