  MRS. G. FUNSTEN Bilbrey, Rt. 2, 824 N. 5th, Frederick, Okla. 73542, is re …[missing wording here in the original published story; George H Posey], born 1827, Louisiana and married first, Nancy (maiden name unknown) [Allen], born South Carolina. Their children, all born in Cass County, Texas, were David, Laura, George, John and Robert.  [Records report also Thomas and James, born between David and Laura.]  His second marriage was to Frances Elizabeth Christian in 1877.  They had six children and he disappeared in 1889.

  The enumerator erred in reported the birth state of their mother the same as for the older children.  Fannie Christian was born, as correctly reported here on her record, in Texas, not South Carolina, as Nancy Allen, George's first wife.

  The birth date of February 1880 matches better with the census information, when the 1880 census date was 1 June, yet it was reported there that Louisa was 3 months old, but born in March 1880.  If she was really three months old, she was born in February.  If she was really born in March, she should have been born in February, as the 1900 census now reports.
