• This child is reported as Mary E in the 1880 census.  This seems to match the child named in the Hamrick Data Pages as Ellen McSwain.  Her name seems to be Mary Ellen.  The Hamrick data does not know her birth year, indicating the year *1862 (about 1862) for several of the children.
