Notes

  • I had found no more than a name and an estimated birth year for AnneBoling Mullins, plus the information on her marriage to my ancestorGeorge Ross Mullins.  But in December 2009, I got a contact fromanother genealogist descended from Ann who gave me some more details.

In our message exchange, she provided the following details about Anneand her multiple marriages:

She was the 2nd wife of my gggrandfather, William Boling. Her firsthusband was James Anderson, Murray Co, GA. Ann and William weremarried in Dec 1854.
    She married
    1) James A Anderson, Murray Co, GA 7 Oct 1847; 2 children - Wm A 1849and Margaret Elizabeth 1851. James died 1852/53. (Ann's maiden namewas also Anderson)

    2) Wm Boling 21 Dec 1854 Lumpkin Co, GA. Wm's wife, Mary, died in1853. Wm had children still at home. Wm A Anderson, son of Ann, livedwith the blended family, but I have found no evidence MargaretElizabeth ever did. Wm & Ann had 6 children. Wm Boling died 1880/1881.

    3) John Mullins in 1881.
I don't know how long Ann lived. There is a tombstone at HightowerBapt Ch Cemetery, Cherokee Co, GA - Ann Boling 1832-1895. She was bornin 1832. Don't know if this is Ann Anderson Boling Mullins. 3 of herchildren are also buried there. Have not researched the Mullinsmarriage.
