• In public records, John is reported as John H and John F.  Some genealogies appear to be obviously reporting family inforrmation with details of dates and places, but without notes or documentation.  These indicate his middle name was Franklin, supporting the 1910 census entry of John F Evatt.  This genealogy reprots the name of his wife in the earlier French form.
