Notes
- Mike Taylor reports that the will of Joseph West, written 25 August 1731, was probated 23 November 1731. It is assumed the will was probated soon after death, and thus he died sometime in in November 1731.
Taylor has transcripts of several documents of land transfers and wills form the west family in Prince Georges County. They lived in the area just east and perhaps north of what became Washington, DC, along the Patuxent River.
