• A genealogy that reports the full dates and details for all the children of Capt William York reports a daughter Martha born in 1781, but reports her mother as Margaret Crabtree, who was born only in 1776.  It seems liekly that Martha was a sister of Capt York.  Others report Martha as a daughter of William's first wife Ailsey (last name unknown).
