Pearl was called Pearley by her cousins, who called the twins Berleyand Pearley.  My mother still loves to say the names together wheneverwe speak of the family:  Bearley and Pearley.

But it appears her actual name was Pearl, and Pearley was a nickname,a euphony to match Berley.  Her name is reported in the 1930 census asPearl I, but I have not found out what her middle name was.  Cousins Ihave asked do not know her middle name.
