    Note that the name on her listing in the cemetery register is Virginia W.  In her obituary it is Virginia Ann.  This name is used on the memorial in Find a Grave.  I have found no inidcatoin of what the W middle in inital might be for.

    A cutting of her obituary from a local nespaper was poste don her Find-a-Grave memorial.  The name of the newspaper was bot given.  No dates are givin in the obituary.  We have added the date of burial from the calendar, based on her known date of death, 6 February 1934, which fell on Tuesday..

    Virginia Quaid Pneumonia Victim

    Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon [7 February 1934] for Virginia Ann Quaid, 14, daughter of Mr and Mrs L H Quaid of Johnson's Corner, east of Comanche, who died of pneumonia after an illness of ten days.

    Ray Davis of Velma officiated at the services which was [sic] held at the Velma Cemetery.

    Survivors include the parents, six brothers Amos, Virdie, Leland, Richard and Lester and two sisters, Mrs Dicie Wilson and Mrs Sylvie Morgan, both of Comanche.

    The Rangeley-Goodman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
