    Coy was the youngest son of John Green and Margaret Kilmer. They areburied near their son. Coy ran away with his girl friend StellaBelvin, the daughter of Charles and Ada, when Stella was under the ageof 13.  When they returned on Sunday, her dad had Coy put in jail.Monday morning Coy got out and tried to get his bride but was turnedaway.

    Coy rode his horse to where the family was working.  Just behind Coywas Charles Belvin.  As Coy was walking toward the family, Charlesshot him in back. Thinking Coy was dead Charles turned way, but Coyemptied his gun into Charles.  Coy died right there but Charles lastedfor a few days.
