"Duncan Lafayette Terry: I'm noticing on several family trees regarding Duncan Terry and Harriet Sliger that they are missing my grandmother.  My grandmother is Hettie Maye Terry Mosley Trotter [daughter of Duncan Lafayetter Terry and Harriet Sliger].  Her siblings were Ola, Donnie, Louis Alexander and William Lafayette.  She was born Dec 12, 1886 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma and died April 15, 1969 in Los Angeles, Calif.  She had 3 children, Olive Mosley, Maggie Mosley and Woodrow L Mosley (my father).

By 1920, Robert had died and Hettie had married a widower in nearby Sebastian County, Arknasa.  She was enumerated as the wife ofd Nathan (Nathon) Trotter.  His previous chidren and her three chidlren are reperted here.

1920 Federal Census, Sebastian County, Arkansas, 24 January, Jim Fork Township, District 136, page 16B, Hse #321, Fam #327

The birth of Maggie in Missouri indicates that Hettie and Robert moved to Missouri for a short time then back to Oklahoma.  Likely Robert died in Oklahoma.  Sebastian County is across the border in Arkansas.  There was a lot of movement of Terrry family members across the border between LeFlore County, Oklahoma, and Sebastian and neighboring Counties in Arkansas.
