Notes

  • The following notes came from Pamela Dyess Mann.  It appears from sources cited that Richard lived to be two weeks short of 100 years old.  However, the actual age reported in the June 1860 census was 103, which would make the birth year 1757.  This source has an exact birth date, which would make the age 100 on July 6 1860.  The notes below from that same source say Richard was 92 in 1850, and Sarah age 85.  In the 1860 census Sarah does not appear.
