• Ella Lucinda Winter sp. Samuel Day Smith were the parents of:

  Ella's mother is reported by one genealogy as Margarette Cassnder Jenkins.  Jenkins sources know her middle name as Catherine.

  Ella's name on her death certificate is Ella L Moore.  This would seem to indicate that she was married to a second husband named Moore after Sam Smith died.  No husband is reported on the death certificate.  Her parents are correctly named as M H Haney and Margaret Jenkins.  The informant was Cecil C Smith.  Her place of birth is reported as Heldon, Oklahoma, which cannot be found.  Apparently this was an unincorporated community or area.  The county of birth is not known.

  I submitted information to Ella's memorial on Find a Grave that I found only in August 2016, and the manager added information I submitted to fill out details and include my transcription of her death certificate.  The death and burial of her mother Margarette Catherine Jenkins Smith has not been found.
