- The 1900 census reports Ethel's birth date as February 1887. A genealogy of the Lynch family reports her birth as 3 February 1888. With a February birthday, and a census in June, her age is correctly reported as 12 in the census. Her birth year then, should be 1888, not 1887 as reported in the census.
Ethel married Andrew Watson, a first cousin of Sallie Watson, who married John Lynch, Ethel's uncle. Buck Lynch reports that Ethel Lynch Watson moved to Arizona because of tuberculosis. No further details on location or date and place of death are available. Buck says that Andrew later lived with his son in San Antonio, but we likewise lack his details.
