  The Strickland Family genealogy has information on Mattie Mabel Green, but provides no source information.  The genealogy appears to draw on family information, such as Mabel's first name, Mattie.  The birth date here, however, differs one year from the date reported on Mabel's death certificate.
  
  The latter says Mabel was born 13 February 1926, while the genealogy has 13 February 1925.  I have found many instances of one-year discrepancies like this, even where the gravestone being in error.  I will accept the date on the death certificate, which also reports the place of birth as Duncan, Oklahoma.
