Jane's (Elvira's) husband 's name looks like Jaeson, and is sotranscribed by Ancestry.  He is reported in genealogies, though,  asAndrew Jackson, and that might be what the enumerator meant torepresent here.  The letter after the A is not clear, and could be aC, or maybe even a K.  But there is no CK for Jack in Jackson.  Maybeher meant to write Jacson, but you would think the enumerator wouldknow how to spell such a common name as Jackson.  Everywhere else heis Andrew J.  I have found no further attestation for Andrew's middlename.

The oldest daughter's name looks like Dave in the census.  Genealogiesreport her as Dovey.  It may be that the enumerator's scrawling handmeant to enter Dove.  It is definitely not Dovie or Dovey, but D-ve.Dovey does not appear in the 1910 census, when she should be about 15years old.

In 1910, Andrew is living in Arden District, Stevens County,Washington.  For some reason Elvira Jane is not listed with thefamily, though Andrew is reported as married.  And she is listed withhim later.

From the birth states of the children, we can tell that Andrew andElvira moved from Tennessee to Washington about 1904.  They moved toOregon sometime after 1904, when Harold was born in Washington.

We learn from other sources that Morma (Mormon) and Barbary (Barbara?)are children of Carlos, who is divorced from his wife.  It isinteresting that the children are with Carlos and not the wife.  I donot have his wife's name.
