Most genealogies have this child as W M Gooch. But two have the name as Wesley M. I have found a Welsey Dean Gooch, in Turnbull, McClain County, Texas, now buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Lindsay, McClain, Oklahoma. He was orn in Missouri.
Jared Kirk, a descendant of W M's brother, John reports that his family notes have W M's name as Willey with no initial.
