Gravestone of Elvira and Jonathan Holt, Wanetta Cemetery, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma

I find the name of this cemetery listed under two spellings: Wanetta and Wanette. The Genealogy Society listings of cemeteries (http://www.okgenweb.org/~cemeteries/cem-online/wanetta.html) spells it as Wanetta, as do many researchers of families buried there. I find some researchers, who have visited the cemetery and taken photos, spelling it Wanette. This is also the spelling in Wikipedia, which I generally find to be very careful and credible. A map segment in the Wikipedia article on Wanette, Oklahoma, has the name spelled Wanette. City Data (http://www.city-data.com/city/Wanette-Oklahoma.html) also spells the town's name thusly. That appears to be the official spelling of the town's name.
