The name of Robert's wife in the 1870 census is Nancy, making it appear this is a new wife, or another name for Patia.  But Patia is still living in 1880, when she was enumerated under the name of Patience as widowed head of the household, with three grown children still at home with her. So the identification is definite.  This makes it appear that her name Patia or Pacia in other enumerations was short for Patience.  But her name on the grave is Patia Martha Moss.  Since we find Patia/Patience in the 1880 census, it seems that Nancy in the 1870 census is also Patience.

In 1880, Patia is listed by the name Patience.  However, her grave reports her full name as Patia Martha Moss.  The enumerator may have misunderstood the name or overcorrected it to what he thought was the full form.

Robert died some time after the 1870 census.  Notice that Patience is reported here as 73 years old, but in 1870 Patia was 69, and in 1860 54.  Households named Moss are living nearby, one next door, head of household Anderson, age 33.
