In 1910 Ceny's first child Clara was reported as age 12, as we expect, but was reported as a son named Claire!  In 1910, Yancy and Ceny arejust a little bit east in Red River County, but the elder couple arenot with them.  This matches information from Ceny's grandson CharlesChristian, who tells me that Yancey's parents Jacob and Mary movedover the border to Idabel, Oklahoma in about 1907.

By 1920, Yancy and Ceny had followed his parents and moved across theRed River into the adjoining county of Oklahoma.  They are reportedliving in the White Township of McCurtain County.  Idabel is thecounty seat of McCurtain County.  Later records put them in Idabeltown.  This census record shows Clara has gone off her own, and Ruthis still at home.  Living next door to the Bledsoe family is thefamily of Henry and Ida Christian.  Ruth will marry the Christians'son Matthew.

In every document I could find about Luceny she was listed as Ceny. Her grandson Charles Christian gave me the full name.  He comments onher name.

"We always knew my Grandmother just as Ceny Stallings Bledsoe and wereshocked to find her listed as Lorene Luceny Stallings in some of ourresearch."
--  Charles Christian, personal email to Orville Boyd Jenkins, 11January 2008

I find that other genealogies that have her and her family spell hername as Lorena rather than Lorene.

In 1930, Ceny is a widow and is reported as a member of her daughter'shousehold.
