In 1910 Ceny's first child Clara was reported as age 12, as we expect, but was reported as a son named Claire! In 1910, Yancy and Ceny are just a little bit east in Red River County, but the elder couple are not with them. This matches information from Ceny's grandson Charles Christian, who tells me that Yancey's parents Jacob and Mary moved over the border to Idabel, Oklahoma in about 1907.

By 1920, Yancy and Ceny had followed his parents and moved across the Red River into the adjoining county of Oklahoma. They are reported living in the White Township of McCurtain County. Idabel is the county seat of McCurtain County. Later records put them in Idabel town. This census record shows Clara has gone off her own, and Ruth is still at home. Living next door to the Bledsoe family is the family of Henry and Ida Christian. Ruth will marry the Christians' son Matthew.

In every document I could find about Luceny she was listed as Ceny. Her grandson Charles Christian gave me the full name.
"We always knew my Grandmother just as Ceny Stallings Bledsoe and were shocked to find her listed as Lorene Luceny Stallings in some of our research."
-- Charles Christian, personal email to Orville Boyd Jenkins, 11 January 2008
I find that other genealogies that have her and her family spell her name as Lorena rather than Lorene.
In 1930, Ceny is a widow and is reported as a member of her daughter's household.
