- Eunice is enumerated in 1860 as Unicy (Eunicy), wife of James McSwain. This may be the same person as Eunice Jane McSwain, daughter of Tthomas. At least one genealogy so identifies her, but has hjr birth year as 1848, whereas the 1860 census age would make her born abotu 1845 or 1844. Also that Eunice Jane is is enumerated in Thomas' household, reported as 13 years old, whereas this Unicy is already 15.
