Forrest's father died abotu July 1930, according to the Wells genealogy. His mother married a widower name William Kent. In the 1940 census, we find Forrest's mother Doris with her two children Forest and Barbara in Bisbee, where Forrest was born. It appears they married before 1935, as they all are reproted as being in the same place in 1935. Here Forest's middle name is reported as Ernest.
