Notes

• Genealogies report that Jane Rolphe died in the same year her son John died.  Jane must have died in childbirth, though I have seen no direct reference to that.  All genealogies of the Barnett family I have seen report the wife of William/Jon Bernard/Barnett as Jane Rolphe.
  
  There is a discrepancy in Christopher Barnette's genealogy, where he reports both John Bernard and Jane Rolphe as parents of John Barnett, but has failed to connect them as spouses.  He also reports that Jane Rolphe died in 1676, but her son John was not born until 1689.
