Notes
- There are several Passenger list and immigration records that provide information on the Zerbst family's move from Brandenburg Province of Prussia to Brazos County, Texas. Some of these records are detailed in the Notes for Carl Wilhelm Zerbst (Jr).
Another Record provides the name of the ship and tells us the Zerbst Family embarked from the European port of Hamburg on 21 December 1850. We also learn that Carl's occupation in Prussia was Joiner, which matches the report in the 1860 Brazos County, Texas, census that he was a cabinet maker.
