Notes

• According to a marriage record, Mary Greene and her sister Ally were born before the marriage of their father Ambrose to his long-time wife Nancy Watson in 1845.  In the 1850 census where they appear, Ambrose's wife is Lavina, which may be a second name for Nancy.  This means Nancy (Lavina) was not their mother, since both were born before 1845.
