• Joan was the second wife of Ralph Fitzbernard.  Few sources give the details for a full picture of Ralph and his famlies.  I have found one genealogy that gives enough information to show a coherent picture of the situation.  Raplph's first wife was Eleanor Curcelles.  Eleanor de CURCELLES was born 1205 in Frome, Somerset, England. She died 1228 in Kingsdown, Kent, England. Eleanor married Ralph FITZ BERNARD on 1222 in Kingsdown, Kent, England. She married 4 Sir Robert AGUILLON Knight on 1204 in Boxgrove, Sussex, England.  They had the following children: Ela AGUILLON was born 1209 and died Sep 1251. Joan AGUILLON was born 1211 and died after 15 Feb 1263.
