    George McSwain Green married Patience A Washburn in 1857.  The first child listed here, with only the initial C, is a child of GM's first wife.  This is Clarissa Ann "Clara" Green.  Clarissa is enumerated in tehir household in the 1880 census as Mrs Clarissa Pannell.  Her name and some details are found in the marriage registry of Greens in Rutherford County, where I found the marriage record of GM and Patience.
