There are discrepances in the records for Charlie or Charles Henry. These apepars on vrious records of marriage and recidence as married to a Cynthia Strange, who appear to be different individuals, daughters of related Strange parents. There are two marriage recores distinguishing these tow women form each other, on e record in Cocke County and the other in Jefferson County, where they both apparently lived, and their two spouses both named Charles Henry. The marriage in 1918 appears to be for the daughter of John and Mary (Beeson) Strange. The other couple marriedin 1920 in Jefferson County.

A WWI draft registration in September 1918 for Charlie Henry in Dandridge, Jefferson County, Tennessee reports his birth date as 19 July 1899, while a birth date of a gravestone in Hills Unon Cemetery, Dandridge, reports Charles Henry, husband of Cynthia S Henry, as 15 June 1898. Birth dates on WWI draft records, for some reason, often report a birth year one year off from later records. But the birth date is usually the same. This birth record confirms their earlier marriage as reported in the above record, reporting Charlie's wife as Sinth Strange.

the birth date here differs slightly from that reported on a gravestone in Hills Union Cemetery for a Charles Henry, whose wife inthe joint grave isalso named Cynthia. The grave reports an eerily-close birth date of 15 June 1898. Though this date and teh corrsponding death date on the grave have been reoported by some genealogies for the Charles Henry who married the daughter of John and Masry Stragne, it appears the grave is in fact that of another person of the same name and age who married the same-name daughter of Porter and Sarah (Hale) Strange in the same broader family, who also lived in the same area of Jefferson County. The latter couple were married in nearby Cocke County, where many stranges of this clan were also married.
