Notes

• The Strange family genealogy in World Family Tree Pedigree # 2932 has a child named Amanda Jane Strange.  In 1850, there were two separate girls named Jane and Amanda, ages 2 and 4 respectively.  No explanation is included in the WFT listing for Amanda Jane.
  
  An otherwise credible and careful genealogy in One World Tree also has only one child with both names, again with no explanation or correlation to the census.  Since the census has two separate children, I am listing them this way.  The census surely would not make such an error as listing the same child twice under different names.  No separate child with initials matching Jane appears.
  
  There is one child, with an age to match Amanda, with the initials A J.  Perhaps the entries in the 1850 census were a duplication due to some error by the enumerator?  Or perhaps the child named Jane had died between the censuses.
