Carrie [Norman] White was the daughter of William Thomas & Eliza Jane Frances [Gibbs] Norman, of Union County SC. Her father was killed at the Battle of the 2nd Manassas Virginia, 1862. Her mother then married a Jefferson Barnett. Carrie married Jesse Robert White, of Spartanburg. Jesse was the son of Calvin & Martha [Cooper] White.
